Don Antonio's Neapolitan Tomato Sauce is the iconic tomato sauce from Naples: slow-cooked, flavored with olive oil, garlic, and basil. It is the mother sauce of Southern Italian cuisine.
Characteristics:
- 480 ml jar, yielding 4 to 5 servings
- San Marzano tomatoes, garlic, fresh basil, extra virgin olive oil
- Slow cooking to develop aromatic concentration
- No added preservatives or coloring
Preparation: heat for 5 minutes over low heat. Serve with al dente pasta, finishing the cooking in the sauce.
Ideal with: spaghetti, linguine, Neapolitan pizza, parmigiana, polpette (meatballs), gnocchi alla Sorrentina.
